Yes, I kid you not. It took me four years to start blogging seriously again. You see back when blogging was still in its infancy, I started a business blog focusing on real estate. I wrote about things I see and experience working on the trenches. Some 1500+ articles later, the content produced help built my reputation as a Realtor blogger and business in the process.
Then something happened.
My mom passed on in 2007. I felt guilty about how the last year she was here visiting me, I didn’t spend enough time with her. Instead, I spent my time working at the office, or at Starbucks, blogging for that matter, because I had no Internet connection at home. I tried to revive my love for blogging a few times, writing sporadically, somehow because it’s not consistent- this didn’t last long.
Losing someone close to you could change your life. It did change my life.
What changed? My perspective about life. Because you never know when the time comes to leave this world and that every single day is a gift. So spend time with your loved ones. Every minute counts. When one’s gone, is gone. Nothing we can do about it. We can only celebrate the memories we had.
All the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time has come. ~Victor Hugo
When I had this idea to share the learning experience with the world, it was 2011. I wanted to put all the websites where we all can learn about something for free. Because there literally thousands organizations in the world are giving away their research for nothing. The only thing requires is our motivation to learn. That’s it.
Now is 2016. Finally the time has come. Time for me to start sharing a little bit that I learn with the world.
This. Is. It. World.
